Our shepherds hut was almost new and well equipped, and very warm with its log burner when we needed it. The bed was comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our full day there was one of the wettest of the week but we walked down to the boars and back to dry off in front of woodstove. My only criticism could be that the glove to hold the stove’s door handle should have been a left hand rather than the right. If we come again we would bring a single-burner gas hob and a pan.
