Step Back In Time
The kids will love this…

Now you can step into history and stay in a reconstructed Iron Age Roundhouse—a unique and memorable experience for the whole family

Roundhouses were the typical homes built in Britain from the Bronze Age through to the Iron Age, and in some areas, even into the Sub-Roman period. These fascinating structures had stone walls or wooden frames with wattle and daub, all topped with a conical thatched roof—a true glimpse into ancient life.

In keeping with its historic design:
• Guests sleep on the floor in true Iron Age style
• The roundhouse offers a simple and authentic experience
• A memorable stay unlike any other

Please remember to bring bedding, pillows and any camping equipment required.

A fascinating and unforgettable way to experience history in the countryside.

Sleeps up to 2 adults and 3 children

During your stay, enjoy FREE access to Bowland Country Park (excluding ‘Bring Your Own Tent’ stays).
