Fantastic stay in the Shepherds Hut. Check in and included entrance to the Animal Park was easy. Check which days it us open however. The hut was beautifully presented with fridge, kettle, bedding and a stove. We used the firepit for our instant bbq. The toilet facilities were lovely, with all in one shower and loo rooms, it was very quiet on our visit however I think if the campsite was full, and 2 people were showering, an extra loo might be useful. We took a wander across the site in the evening and found the forest and wildflower ponds, and children’s play area in the pod section. All was clean and tidy. The other accommodation looked great too. I would stay in a hut again, I would worry that if strangers were in the other hut they might feel a bit close. Overall lovely and I would possibly camp, or hire the belltent.
