This has easily been the best accommodation me and my partner have ever stayed in and we have stayed in B&Bs, lodges, cabins and campsites all over the North of England and Wales. When we opened the door to our lodge for the first time we looked at each other in disbelief…and I booked the thing! It was a level of luxury we could never have expected from a lodge in such picturesque, natural surroundings. The staff were all attentive, welcoming and friendly when required but are extremely respectful of your privacy. The on-site animal park is lovely and we spent a good few hours in all weathers spending some quality time with our furry neighbours. We actually discovered even more animals while taking a midnight stargazing walk around the lightly forested but amazingly safe outskirts of the park for an hour one evening. Absolutely brilliant.
