We stopped at Bowland Escapes over a long weekend for a wedding. The lodge facilities were spotlessly clean & equipped with everything you’d need for a stay. The layout & facilities have been carefully thought out, including the hot tub on the veranda. Beds were really comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The lodges were placed far enough apart to give a degree of privacy, but not isolation. The park itself is set in a rural area but this was part of the attraction for us, lots of peace and tranquility. It’s also a good base for walking and cycling. For those wanting to dine out, there are a number of pubs which serve food a short drive away. The added bonus is the Wild Boar park on site. The wedding venue was about 75 meters from our lodge and is a fantastic place to hold a wedding, where the ceremony can be held outdoors or indoors. Our guests loved the atmosphere and uniqueness of the Tepees.
