Roundhouses were the typical homes built in Britain from the Bronze Age through to the Iron Age, and in some areas, even into the Sub-Roman period. These fascinating structures had stone walls or wooden frames with wattle and daub, all topped with a conical thatched roof—a true glimpse into ancient life.

On days when the park is closed to the public, guests are still welcome to enjoy a complimentary walk around the park during their stay. Please note that park activities and the café may not be open on these days, and some areas may occasionally be restricted for safety reasons.
